I would give anything to experience

Going on tour with a bunch of lads in a band, going on a tour with a lot of bands playing the same shows. (I’m feeling like this seconds into watching the Battle For Paris - The Tangled Tour video) I’d love to travel a bunch of cities and sit in a van for up to 6/7 hours a day just driving up and down Britain. I could imagine it to be the most incredible experience ever.

I love when you go to little local shows and you see members of the bands who are supporting/touring with the band that are currently playing singing along, joining in little tour jokes and really being so passionate about the friends they’ve made on the tour.

I went to the last date of The Tangled Tour and after Bastions finished their set it got really emotional, watching the guys from all the bands finishing off the set, jumping on each other and hugging and effectively saying goodbye from spending up to/over a week with each other, in each others company, hearing the bands as each of them played thanking the other bands for their company, for becoming such good friends, for being there when things went tits up. The bromance is just over bearing and the most amazing thing.

I also notice how amazing it must feel to know you’re getting ready to go on tour, that excitement of wondering who you’re going to meet at the different shows, seeing old friends and just doing what you love, I see it all on Facebook and on here, my friends in bands who are dying to get back out there to play shows for people who really like their bands.

I love going to shows, I wish I could afford to go to as many as I wished, I would never have a place to call home, I’d be all over the country. Live music is most definitely my life.
